Celltork
Celltork are cellulose swabs to be used for wiping off blood drops from the finger during capillary sampling. They can also be used to wipe off excess specimen on the outsides of the HemoCue microcuvettes. Celltork is made of lint free and highly absorbent material to prevent smearing of the specimen and allowing sampling in a more hygienic way than, for example, gauze. The lint free material also prevents particles from being introduced into the microcuvette in contrast to other materials such as cotton balls.
